M.M Alam Road is known for its glamorous designer shops, exquisite and classy restaurants and over sized shopping malls. This time around Sublime by Sara Shahid has opened its doors for the ever-craving lahori gal, who is always on a look out for new and exciting designs. Her collection of ladies wear has a clean and structured look for summer 2007. Some pieces are more eccentric – others conservative but there is a trendy feel to all of them. Sara has played with almost everything, jamavar, chiffon, silks and color from pastel to black – perhaps this variation has made her collection fascinating.

Sublime is a mix of both formal and casual designs; the colors used are light and summery which keeps in check with the exhilarating hot weather. This doesn’t mean that dark shades are not used colors like black, blue and green are also prominent in clothes showcased at the shop. The clothes displayed at sublime are labeled under three categories; western wear, sublime divine and sublime sara.

Sara’s Sublime Divine is her formal collection. This formal wear has a diverse look; it was intriguing to see such variation in color from beige and pastel colors to black and darker shades of green and blue. The embellishment on formal wear is in dull gold; this not only gives a smooth look to the attire but also is subtle for the eye to look at. On the other hand the enchanting causal wear Sublime Sara, is a mix of black, white and pink, embellishment are seen done on all colors. The most exciting pieces are the printed chiffon ponchos with fine embroidery craved on them.

Her western wear is a combination of halters, kurtis and ponchos. In her western wear Sara has few pieces from her SUBLIME WOMEN ENTERPRENUER PROJECT.
On her path of to expand and nurture the label SUBLME, Sara met with an individual who is beautiful, talented, strong and professional. She has five daughters and is living like many others under poverty line. Her only source of income is her skill. This individual along with many more like her, helped create THE SUBLIME WOMEN ENTERPRENUER PROJECT. These empowering individuals have handcrafted the clothes tagged under THE SUBLIME WOMEN ENTERPRENUER PROJECT. These ladies are now able to breath life into their homes and children without having to leave their home.
