Henry was born in July 30,1863 and was the oldest of 6 siblings. Henry grew up on a family farm in Michigan. Henry enjoyed attending school and doing farm chores. But when Henry grew older his interest in doing farm chores disappeared when he was introduced into the world of mechanics. When Henry turned 16 in 1879 he left the farm which he was most ashamed of and left for Detroit and joined the Detroit Edison company .In Detroit Henry worked their as a assistant mechanic. But Henry often visited the farm to lend a helping hand. Henry worked with Steam Engines and later repaired Sawmills to support his wife Clara Bryant in 1888.In 1893 Henry Invented the gasoline engine.

‘’Henry The Engineer’’

1899 Henry left Edison and joined the Detroit Automobile company. At this time period cars were build one by one hand by hand. And Henry hoped to incorporate ideas from other business like Eli Whitney and George Eastman. These ideas failed and Henry quit the Detroit Automobile Company and began building his own automobiles. They became popular and attracted a large amount of partners. So 1903 he created the Ford Motor Company. He resisted Mass Production but stuck to his goal. In 1908 one of Henry’s Automobile Models (Model T} began production and Henry sold 15 million in the year of 1927. Henry was interested in politics and became very powerful and well known.1915 Henry funded a trip to Europe where World War 1 was occurring. He And 170 others voyaged their to seek peace there. But the war lasted another three years. After Henry ran for Senate and lost he never ran again but always outspoken on certain subjects. Henry’s Automobiles made it easier for people to be transported to different places and still today his company is one of the best automobile business there is. Henry died of old age and was loved and admired.
