Your submission to eCheat will make an even bigger difference if you take the time to place it in the appropriate
category, format it properly, and make it easily identifiable and searchable!
Select Your Essay's Category:
To automatically jump to the upload form in that category.
Alternatively you many follow the instructions
below for uploading:
1. Navigate to the category you want to upload in from the main page
2. Within the category click the “Upload New Essay” link.
3. In the subject field use as descriptive a title for your essay as possible.
Did your professor ask you to analyze certain literary techniques?
Is your essay focused on a specific topic within a novel?
Are you comparing more than one book?
4. In the message body field please include the essay topic
/ writing prompt / problem statement provided by your professor before your essay.
5. Paste the entire text of your essay into the message body field. Try to use "line spaces" in between
paragraphs instead of "tabs" by pressing enter between them.
6. Always include a bibliography at the end of the essay text if you have one. These can be extremely helpful for
students writing a paper on the same topic.
Uploading Essays with Pictures, Tables, and/or
Graphs:
Our database allows you to add pictures to your essays as long as they are stored on another server. If you have
a large number of images and do not have a server to store them on, email them to webmaster@echeat.com
and we will be happy to upload them on our server for you!
1. Save your graphics as either JPEG's or GIF's.
2. In the case of tables and graphs, either use the EXPORT option (usually under the FILE menu) or simply take
a screenshot and crop out your desired image in a graphics editor.
3. Store them on your server or send them to webmaster@echeat.com.
4. In the essay body upload field type in [img] and then the URL of your image and finally [/img] to close the
tag. If you emailed your image to eCheat, use http://www.echeat.com/essayimages/THENAMEOFYOURFILE. (Your image
will become visible with 24 hours after essay posting.)
