Hypocrisy Among People

Hypocrisy Among People

Hypocrisy is pretending to be someone you are really not or pretending to be better than someone else. Hypocrisy takes place everyday in America. It can be found in lots of locations, especially churches. Hypocrisy’s inside the churches, it was even around before Christ, and also it is outside of the churches. Here are a few examples of each.

First of all, people go bar hopping on Saturday and go to church on Sunday. These people are known as “Saturday Sinners, Sunday Repenters.” People think it is approvable to go out on Saturday, get drunk, then come home, go to church that next morning with a hang over and repent your sins from last night. God doesn’t work that way. So people need to figure that out for themselves.

Furthermore, church goers of all beliefs know about hypocrisy. Hypocrisy was on Earth before Christ was. For example, in the Bible, Christ thought that the law of Moses had been distorted and that the priests, scribes and Pharisees had become hypocrites. Pharisees and the others thought they were above the law. No matter what anyone says, no one is better than anyone else. It doesn’t matter if they have more money or if their home is more glamorous, it doesn’t make a difference.

Finally, religion is becoming more and more choreographed by hypocrites today. It is starting to be like politics, you have to know someone who has links to get you in good with the crowd or you have to impress the people by your looks, the money you have, or the car you drive. Why churches are becoming that way,
no one really knows; but it needs to be stopped.

In conclusion, there is not one person on Earth that can say he or she hasn’t thought they were better than someone else. I believe the world would be a better place if it wasn’t so hypocritical. Hypocrites need to quit thinking they are better than everyone else because there just as equal as you and me.
