Plants and Animals are our friends

A friend in need is in deed. Plants and animals are our best friends as they fulfill all our needs. Without them our life would be unthinkable. All our food comes directly or indirectly from plants in form of fruits, vegetables, pulses, rice, wheat etc. Plants provide us with basic needs of food, clothing and shelter. They purify the air we breathe and thus, protect us from pollution hazards. Many life saving medicines are formed from plants. Men's relationship with animals are very old. The friendship between men and animal is more reliable and lasting. Cats, dogs, monkeys, cows, horses etc... are our friends. Animals give us useful things like wool, milk, meat, egg, leather etc. Dog is the most faithful animal and our best friend. Animal understand our love and care and are never ungrateful. Once friends they are always friend. Plants and animals live in perfect harmony and friendship with us, without them our life is not possible. We should also take care of them by planting more and more trees, stopping deforestation and protecting animals.
