Review of Start Something by Earl Woods

Review of Start Something by Earl Woods

The name of my novel was Start Something by Earl Woods and the Tiger Woods Foundation. This book is an inspirational book for people who want to turn their life around in a positive way. The chapters are set up according to practical living issues. Each chapter, or each heading, deals with every day living, for example: how to spend your allowance, how to be a good friend, etc.

The book trains a person how to be a better person, student, brother, sister, daughter, son, father, or mother. The book also teaches a person how to start dreaming, start soaring, start growing, start exploring, start asking, start thinking, start going, start sailing, start imagining, start rehearsing, start picturing, start moving, or to start something.

My favorite chapter was the chapter that talked about friends. This chapter helped me realize and figure out who my real friends were. It also made me realize how I should conduct myself around them. It made me realize what a good friend should be: someone who is there for you, right or wrong, good and bad, they give you the truth when others won’t, you can count on them for anything, anytime, throughout a lifetime of trust and respect.

Some of my new goals are: to be on time, to read for twenty minutes a day, to control my anger, and to lose like a winner because everyone can’t win every time. I think the most important thing that I am going to start is doing my part to stop racism and prejudice. Any intelligent person knows that it’s wrong and ignorant to dislike people because of their religion, skin color, or culture. The way I see it is that we are all from the same race, the human race and I wouldn’t want someone to treat me wrong because of those reasons so I won’t either.

My new perspective in life is just to be a better person. My old perspective in life was to be better than everyone in anything that was out there but now I understand my part in this world. I encourage everyone to read this book because it really helped me out and I know it will help you threw your problems too.
