Characteristics of student-athletes
Our goal is to promote student athlete involvement. We want our athletes to get the most experience out of our athletic programs. Not only excelling and learning life lessons but also individually gaining personal qualities that will help them to succeed in the future. Our athletes are important to us and we look to help them in any way possible. We understand that athletic involvement at the college level can be difficult. We encourage all tutorial programs and offer individual assistant to all our athletes. We have had many student-athletes accomplish personal goals. It is a great experience here at Portland to get involved in the athletic programs. We want our students to get the most out of this experience and hope that they achieve all goals possible.
