James Gatz who is known as Jay Gatsby lived a poor life with his unwealthy parents who worked as farmers. He started by working with very low salaries, but when he met Dan cody who used to drink heavily he offered him an assistant position.
After that Jay Gatsby met Daisy in which he fell with love but her parents didn’t allow her to see him even before going to war because of his unsuitable background in which he lived.
Tom married Daisy and Daisy forgot about Jay Gatsby but after five years from war she found Gatsby who changed a lot for her but found her married with a child and this was a fact he couldn’t change.
Jay Gatsby became very wealthy through committing crimes with Meyer Wolfshien, He thought being wealthy will make him marry daisy but he was wrong. As a result of his wealth he bought a big mansion with a garden, a big fountain and French windows in the west egg, had beautiful clothes made from fine fabrics which were imported from England and did many parties every Saturday inviting important people like business men and actors who didn’t really know him.
One of Gatsby’s motives to become rich and live in a good society was Daisy, but now he couldn’t have Daisy because of the fact that she was married to Tom and her parents will never allow her to leave him to be with a robber.
