The Importance of Having Good Parents

Parents play an important role in child development. A responsible parent led children to a responsible adult. The definition of good parent might be differing from person to person. I list here few qualities that a responsible parent should have.

A responsible parent always keep in mind that they are raising adults, not children. They always think about their children’s character, not just their careers. They would like to make them competent, responsible, considerate, generous men or women.

A responsible parent; permit nothing in their home that offends god. They always direct their children’s behavior by giving good examples. They always teach their children, to accept what is good, reject what is wrong, and know the difference.

The love between mother and father plays an important role for children. Children need a real strong relationship between themselves and their parents. Children who have a strong relationship with their parents are most likely to respect the authority of their parents.

A responsible parent teaches their children that we mean what we say, we say what we mean, and we keep our word. They insist that their children always tell the truth and keep their promises.

They teach their children to pray. They direct them to help the needy. They teach them how to respect the elder. They make their children wait for something they want, and if possible make them to earn it. That’s way children realize the value of money as well as they know that how difficult it is to earn it.
Both parents in workforce leave their children home alone both before and after school, as well as during summer vacation. These children are basically left to raise themselves. Therefore responsible parents spend an enough time with their children.

A responsible parent set limits for their children. They should make sure that their children eat the proper foods, dress appropriately, and are in bed at a reasonable time. As they get older, they expand their limits. They try to understand their children’s liking and disliking. They listen to their children. They give them opportunities to learn things. They counsel their children, when their children get depressed.
