Unfavorable Review of The Time Machine by H.G. Wells

Unfavorable Review of The Time Machine by H.G. Wells

The Time Machine by Herbert George Wells is his vision, of the future. I believe Wells wrote this book not to be scientifically correct in but as a questionable book you can debate over. Wells was the first person that I know of to propose the idea that a machine could be for time travel. Not only do the

The main characters in The Time Machine were The Time Traveler. The Time Traveler was definitely intelligent. He figured out a way to travel through time! He was also a very charming, rich and friendly man; a little too anxious I would say. His anxiousness made him go to another time unprepared, nothing with him but a package of matches. The Second main character is Weena an Eloi who the time traveler rescued. Weena was by far the most interesting character in the novel. The Eloi are a beautiful, friendly and fragile race of small creatures. They have a great fear of the dark.

The novel takes place in England above and around his home in the future and present. The book is about the time traveler going into the future rescuing a girl (Weena) then putting her in danger. After he gets his machine back from mutated monkeys he goes forward into time and sees the end days of the world with huge oversized causations. After that adventure he returns home to tell his friend who of course do not believe him. A few weeks later the time traveler goes on an adventure and never returns.

I really did not enjoy this book. Even though it was a short read and it was science fiction which are a favorites for, I was board out of my mind reading this book. It took me forever to finish the half-inch novel. Mainly I believe my distain for this book is that; the author took to much time giving details to unimportant things.
