Magical Realism in the Works of Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Rudolfo Anaya

In six pages the genre dubbed as 'magical realism' is examined through the works of One Hundred Years of Solitude and Bless Me, Ultima and argues that magical realism is harshly critical of what it regards as a deficient reality which makes it an important instrument of sociology and politics.
