The Impact of Urban Sprawl on Wildlife

Uploaded by : Essays-Now.com

This 24 page paper describes the way in which urban sprawl has impinged on wildlife, forcing animals to fight for existence as man continues to infringe on their environment. The writer argues that although wildlife rehabilitation clinics have helped, many species have nowhere to go but into the cities and suburbs. The writer further opines that the efforts of these wildlife centers to educate the public are not moving quickly enough to improve the vast human ignorance in regard to wildlife, and the terrible harm that we are doing to the flora and fauna because of our selfishness.
