Both Modern and Ancient Views of Beruit and Cairo

This paper creates a comparison between the ancient societies of Beruit and Cairo and their modern counterparts. This paper considers the fact that many complex societies were present from the earliest recorded time and that these societies reflected a complex view of the sociopolitical and economic processes of human interaction. As a result, much can be learned from the ancient cultures of Beruit and Cairo. The histories of these two countries provide some similarities that are important to understanding the transformation of these cities over time.
