Powers of the President as Set Out in the Constitution

Presidential power under the Constitution is the subject of this paper. It focuses on the history leading up to the signing of the document and what concerns there were, including balance of power. Argues that political forces and personalities were at least as important as the balance of power in determining exactly how the office of the president is viewed.
