Perspectives on Human Nature

Uploaded by : Essays-Now.com

Stevenson's The Study of Human Nature presents two distinct views on human nature, a Christian view and an Islamic view. For the first, Stevenson reviews St. Paul's first letter to the Corinthians and his letter to the Romans. The view illuminated in these letters are then compared to that illuminated in Ayatullah Murtaza Mutahhari's Man and Faith. This five page paper reveals many parallels in each particularly in regard to their view of the animalistic nature of sin and the rational nature of the spiritual realm. Four sources.
