Uploaded by :

A 5 page research paper that discusses the persecution that occurred under the reign of Nero. New Testament accounts of the early history of Christianity stop around the year 62 AD, just three decades after the Crucifixion (Sheler 40). Non-biblical sources date generally from the fourth century onward, which is long after the turmoil of Christianity’s origins. This examination of Christian history focuses on the reign of Nero and the struggle for survival that occurred as this Roman emperor instigated a campaign of brutal persecution against Christians.
