Indeed, the extent to which both together equals a synergistic power for achievement speaks to the meaning of culture as being an organization's fundamental philosophy. In this vein, it is critically important to have effective leadership at the helm in order to devise and implement the culture that will ultimately guide the organization. According to Schein, issues with leadership have historically been the result of solid vision and mission but weak management when it comes to implementation of the principles that comprise an organization's culture.
