Change and Its Impact on Middle Management

Organizational change is a necessary process for any large organization. In 2009 Starbucks underwent a significant organizational change, which impacted on the entire company, including operations and structure. The writer looks at the way in which change will impact on middle management, looking at these changes in terms of the corporate strategy before considering the way in which change impacted on management roles and tasks.
