Economic Frustration and Frustration-Agression Theory

Uploaded by :

This research paper endeavors to answer the questions: Are the frustrations of many Americans being unfairly displaced toward certain racial and ethnic groups? Or, have other social groups become the primary targets? The writer, first of all, describes Dollard's frustration-aggression theory as an explanation for racial/ethnic prejudice, but then argues that the current expression of this social phenomenon, as evidenced by the "Occupy" movement, is focused on the establishment and the rich rather than on weaker ethnic/racial groups. Three pages in length, five sources are cited.
