Improving Responses to Biochemical Attacks

This is an article review of one fired departments and how they upgraded their hazmat response system. The Level A suits they were using posed several negative challenges. For one thing, they were heavy leaving responders carrying an extra 7 or more pounds, which is a strain. The suits trap and retain heat, which could leave the responder at risk for heat injuries and there were other issues. The article explains, in detail, how FDNY overcome these challenges.
