When Should You Disclose a Disability

The Americans with Disabilities Act was passed in 1990. It was a major law that affected every business, organization, and enterprise in the nation. It prohibits any kind of discrimination in the workplace because of a disability. However, the law states that the person must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodations. This paper discusses if an individual should disclose the disability in a job interview. There are three sources listed in the bibliography of this three page paper.
