A Better Intervention Program for Smokers

Research has confirmed that nicotine addiction is at least as strong as heroin addiction. This means that it is at least as hard to stop smoking as it is to stop shooting up heroin. Still, many smokers attend intervention programs every year, most do not succeed. This essay discusses a statewide program. The theoretical framework for the project is the Theory of Planned Behavior. This is the planning part of the project and includes an introduction, theory, literature review, needs assessments, data collection, and a brief conclusion.
