The concept of Nature as presented in Jane Eyre

This paper looks at the concept of Nature as it is presented in Bronte's novel, in regard to the use of Nature to provide the structural framework for particular points in the narrative and to reflect the events which take place in the course of the story. Specific examples are examined, including the Midsummer Eve scene in which the thunderstorm cleaves the big tree in half. This seven page paper has six sources listed in the bibliography.
